Steel making plant 

with the annual capacity of 1.5 million tons and direct reduction unit with the annual capacity of 2 million tons of hot and cold direct reduction iron (DRI).

 

Remarkable features of Butia Iranian Steel Plant:

1. Using HYL3 technology for reducing oxidized iron pallet and producing briquetted iron, high quality of products, high carbon content of the DRI, low production costs, and being environment friendly are core values of this technology
2. Capacity of producing various types of billets, blooms, and beam blanks, and ingots with circular section for producing various exclusive steel sections including wide-flange H beams, rails, and seamless pipes.
3. Using VD technology for producing special steels.
4. Using hybrid cooling tower in order to reduce the water consumption and achieve maximum cooling efficiency of the circulating water in steel producing process.
5. Using the latest urban wastewater treatment system.
